The Story Behind These Designs
I have collected vintage linens, quilts, and embroidered napkins for years. There’s something about the craftsmanship in those pieces that feels honest, like someone actually cared about how they looked and felt. This collection is an ode to all of them — their textures, their muted tones, the way they age gracefully.
I worked with Little Cocalico, a family-owned company based in the U.S. that uses sustainably sourced fabrics. It felt like the right partnership — a way to honor handcrafted linens while creating designs you can use to make something entirely your own.

The Designs

Blooming Poppies
This one was inspired by my love of poppy flowers — so delicate and fleeting, nearly impossible to keep in a bouquet or preserve by pressing. I wanted to capture that fragile beauty in fabric form. Illustrated by Courtney Rathmann, it’s a sister print to the Cosmos design, rendered in muted earth tones that pair beautifully with warm neutrals.
Woven Wildflower
A classic buffalo plaid combined with illustrations of some of my daughter’s and my favorite flowers. It scales well for different projects — I love it small on dinner napkins or large on curtains.
Cottage Quilt
An ode to classic Irish chain quilts, reimagined in soft, earthy tones. Sage greens, blush pinks, and light blues give it a timeless feel without looking dated. It works across pillows, upholstery, and anything in between.
Threaded Petal
This was inspired by a vintage fabric I discovered in one of my favorite places — Door County. The original pattern was so good that I wanted to create a version I could use again and again. It comes in multiple colorways, with simple florals in a small-scale design.
Storybook Stripe
I found the inspiration on a vintage plate and translated it into fabric. Delicate florals paired with classic stripes — whimsical but not fussy. It shows off beautiful detail at a larger scale but is equally charming printed small for napkins.
Stitched Sweet Pea
This one brings me so much joy. Designed to create the illusion of cross-stitch embroidery on fabric, it was inspired by the vintage embroidered napkins I’ve collected over the years. The floral motif celebrates handmade textiles without trying too hard.
Pinwheel Posy
A sweet, quilt-inspired design that brings together playful stripes and florals. It has real movement and personality on the fabric. I think it looks especially lovely in a nursery — curtains, pillows, bedding.
Cottage Coverlet
Inspired by a vintage woven coverlet, this one features florals framed within geometric rectangles. It’s especially beautiful on pillows. The balance of structure and softness makes it a standout in the collection.
How I See These Living in Your Home
